This article will guide you through recommended steps when emails look correct in the editor, but they will show up with altered formatting. This could include words not having an initial capital letter and instead showing all lower case.
Why is this happening?
This can happen when no font is set for the email template and some punctuation impacts how the email client displays the email.
How can I fix this?
Navigate to Setup > Communications > Email Templates > edit pencil next to your email template.
Click the Editor tab and select ALL of the email content. Select the "Change Font" button to choose one of the standard, most recognized fonts.
This will “force” the HTML to use the selected font and the end user client will also use that same font which will render the various punctuation and formatting correctly.
NOTE: If the font is not applied to the whole template, the application presenting the email could choose its own font and issues can occur.
