This article will provide you with the suggested steps to create an Automation Rule that will trigger to inactive members that have past due invoices on their account.
1. Access Automation Rules Setup
Navigate to Setup > Automation > Automation Rules > Add New Automation Rule.
2. Recommended Settings
For this rule we want to target Inactive Members.
You will need to name and set where is the automation rule. We recommend the following:
- Rule Name - ‘Past Due Inactive Member Day X [insert action here]’ as it describes who the rule is firing on and what the action is going to be.
- Folder Name - Create a folder called Past Due to house this in
- Purpose - Past Due
Next, you will want to define how the rule will trigger and the action. These can be found in the screenshot below.
NOTE: The action can be an email, staff task or SMS but for this example we used a staff task.
After the rule is created, you will need to toggle it to ON so that it will fire.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Setup: can access setup
- Setup: Can access automation rules setup
