This video will guide you through associating a member. To do this, you will have a member that has an agreement which allows associated members, and a prospect that you will be associating to the agreement-carrying member. Once associated, a prospect will gain membership status and may also mirror any amenities from the primary member's account, based upon the package the primary member holds. This is only applicable to membership clubs.
NOTE: Making a member a responsible party only covers membership status - it does not cover incidentals like purchasing a bottle or water through the Point Of Sale (POS). Sharing of any session credits is not automatically enabled by this.
What Is A Responsible Member?
A responsible member is the member that is paying for membership. The responsible member will show the agreement details stored under their account. An associated member is a member who has the same membership status as the responsible member but they are not billed. In order for additional member's to be associate to the responsible member, the sales package will have to allow associated members.
1. Access Client Profile
To add or manage the associated member's on a responsible member's account, go to; Members > Member Lookup > Select the Member > All Detail > Billing > Associated Members.
On the Associated Members page, you may lookup the prospect that you wish to associate to member on the left side, or you may select their name from the list on the right that generates people with the same last name. Please note that in order to associate someone to this responsible member, they will first need to be added a prospect.
