How to Extend a Client Login
1. Review the Account Before Extending: Search for and select the desired client. Before manually extending their login date, confirm whether the account has any outstanding issues:
- Past Due Balance — Address any unpaid invoices before extending login access. Depending on how your site is configured, paying a past due invoice may automatically extend the client's login access.
- Expired Membership — If the client's membership has ended, consider signing them up for a new agreement rather than manually extending their login date.
Note: After resolving any past due payments, verify whether the login date has been automatically extended before proceeding to the next step.
2. Access the Client Profile: If you determine a manual update is needed, click the PROFILE button on the client's profile.

3. Extend the Login Date: Scroll down to the Login Active Until field. You have two options:
- No Time Limit — Check this box to give the client unrestricted login access with no expiration date.
- Set a Specific Date — Enter a future date to allow the client to log in until that date.
Once your selection has been made, click Click To Update to save the changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why has a client's login access expired?
A: Login access is typically affected by an unpaid invoice or an expired membership. Review the client's account for any past due balances or membership expiration dates and address those first, as resolving them may automatically restore login access depending on your site's configuration.
Q: Will paying a past due invoice automatically restore the client's login access?
A: After processing any past due payments, check the Login Active Until field to confirm whether the date has been updated before making a manual adjustment.
Q: When should I use No Time Limit versus setting a specific date?
A: Use No Time Limit for clients who should have ongoing access without an expiration, such as staff members or long-term members on active agreements. Use a specific date when you want to grant temporary access for a defined period of time.
