Why is this error message displaying?
When attempting to add a new username to a user and this message displays it could be due to:
- The username is already taken by another account (check for duplicate profiles).
- Staff using an email as the username because it is not being used at their specific location.
- Emails as username can only be used once in a system (in this case ClubReady). If this user is or was a member at a different location, ClubReady will still recognize it and display the message. (Similar to social media sites where a username can only be used once in that system).
NOTE: An email can be used numerous times as the email on file, but not as the username.
