This article will guide you through understanding and setting up Email Message Templates for your studio. Email Message Templates are predefined messages that can be used in a variety of places.
Create An Email Message Template
Option 1: Under the Setup Tab
Navigate to Setup > Communications > Email Message Templates. Enter the name of the new email message template and Select Email Type (NOTE: this affects where the added template can be used):
- Classes - Class schedule popup. If there is at least one booking in the class, there will be an Email tab.
- Leads - Leads/Prospects lookup > Email tab.
- Members - Members lookup > Email tab.
- Past Dues - Members/Customers > Manage Past Dues Email tab
- Work It - Work it > Contact > Send an Email
Click Create Email Message Template.
Edit An Email Message Template
Once added, the name will display below. Click on the edit pencil to proceed and type the message. You can also click the view it to see a pop up with the subject and message. Select the red x to delete the template.
Basic editing tools are available on the toolbar above the text box. When finished click Update.
Option 2: When sending an Email
At the moment of sending an email to a customer (Work It, Email Tab, Bookings), you have the option to select Save This Entry For Future Use.
NOTE: If saved from here, it can only be edited or deleted by going to Setup > Communications > Email Message Templates.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access email templates setup
