Creating customized membership types is essential for effectively managing your club’s members and tailoring their experiences. Whether you’re offering tiered access, special discounts, or time-based privileges, setting up a new membership type ensures your system aligns with your club’s operations.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to create a new membership type within your club management system. You’ll learn how to define the membership name, apply discount schemes, configure club access times, and even assign a unique check-in monitor color for easy identification.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access membership types setup
1. Navigate to Setup > Members > Membership Types.
2. Name of Membership Type: This allows you to classify your member as this type. You will be able to sort by member type in Member Lookup.
3. Assign a Discount Scheme: You will be able to associate a Discount Scheme by selecting it from the list.
4. Select Club Access Time Settings: If your club or chain is enabled for Club Access Times, you can select the Club Access time that applies to this Membership Type.
5. Web Check-In Monitor Color: You can set a unique color to identify this membership type upon check-in. This will be viewed in the check-in monitor.
5. Create The New Type: Once ready, click to save your membership type and appear in the Active tab.
