Having priority waitlist options allows you to provide specific membership types a higher priority on any class waitlist they are added to over members with normal priority.
Please Note:
- This functionality only works with classes.
- High Priority may be added to any member using either:
- A membership type.
- An amenity.
- If you are not familiar with membership types or amenities, you may review these articles:
- The list is based on the order the user was added to the waitlist. However, you may choose what priority customers with a specific amenity have on the waitlist.
- If two members have the same high priority membership type or amenity, the time they were added to the list will be used as the secondary factor for selection.

Configuration
Members added to a waitlist with “High” priority status will be moved to the top of the waitlist for that class.
Waitlist position is determined by:
- Priority Status, (Normal or High).
- The order they were added to the waitlist, (Date/Time the booking was added to the waitlist).
Waitlist Priority for Membership Types
When editing any of your membership types, you may set the priority as shown below. This can be done at the corporate-level for brands that have multiple locations and wish to control this option, or at the club-level, for club-level membership types.
Example of the edit screen for a corporate-level Membership Type:
Navigate to Setup > Members > Membership Types. When creating or editing an existing amenity, select from the drop down if their Wait List Priority For This Membership can be set as Normal or High.
Waitlist Priority for Amenities
Like with membership types shown above, when editing any of your Amenities, you can also set the priority as shown below. This may also be done at the corporate-level for brands that have multiple locations and wish to control this option, or at the club level, for club-level (location-level) membership types.
Example of the edit screen for a club-level Amenity:
Navigate to Setup > Members > Amenities. When creating or editing an existing amenity, select from the drop down if their Booking wait list priority can be set as Normal or High.
Examples
This is an example screenshot from Scheduling 2.0 showing a waitlist with 6 members. The top three are “high” priority, and in Scheduling 2.0 they are clearly differentiated with amber colored icons so you and your staff can easily see those with the higher status:
Legacy scheduling (also known as Bookings tab) within the UI will respect the high priority status and correct order on the waitlist, but there is no special indicator showing that member has priority waitlist status. In this example, Larry Adams has a membership type that includes high waitlist priority. Although the booking was added to this waitlist after the demo booking, because of the high priority status, Larry is at the top of the list:
