Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following before getting started:

- Club Setup - Can Access Lead Types Setup
- If the correct options are not selected when creating a prospect type, it will not be available as an internal prospect type. If this happens, the prospect type will need to be deleted and recreated with the correct settings.
How to Create an Internal Prospect Type
1. Navigate to Lead Types: Go to Setup > Leads > Lead Types.
2. Configure the New Internal Lead Type: Complete the following fields to set up the internal prospect type:
- Lead Type Name — Enter the name of the internal lead type.
- Is a membership lead type? — Select No for internal lead types. This field is for Membership Clubs only.
- Can be selected when adding a new lead — Check this box if you want the lead type to be available for selection when staff are adding a new prospect.
- Default Sales Script — If sales scripts have been created for staff to use when working a prospect, select a default script to assign to this lead type.
- Issue a Free Package — Select whether to allow a free package to be issued, which can be used to provide free consult session credits to prospects with this type.
- Provide New Lead a System Login — Choose whether to provide the prospect with a system login to access the ClubReady Customer Portal.
- Email Sent to New Lead — Choose to use the default new prospect email or select a custom email template.
Note: The additional fields for the new lead type are optional when creating an internal lead type.

3. Save the Internal Prospect Type: Click Create The New Prospect Type to save.
4. Verify the New Prospect Type: Once saved, you can view all available internal lead types by navigating to Setup > Leads > Lead Types.

Q: Why is my new prospect type not appearing as an internal prospect type?
A: This typically occurs when the Is a membership lead type? field is not set to No during setup. Internal prospect types require this field to be set to No. If the incorrect setting was selected, the prospect type will need to be deleted and recreated with the correct configuration.
Q: Can I edit an internal prospect type after it has been created?
A: Yes. Navigate to Setup > Leads > Lead Types to view and manage your existing lead types. Select the lead type you wish to update and make the necessary changes.
