This article and video will assist you with steps on how to manually create a task for a prospect, member or customer. A task, or to-do item, can be created for a specific client and assigned to a staff member for completion.
Search and select the prospect/member/customer you wish to create a task for an staff member to complete. There are three ways to create a task. You may select the Tasks tab, use the Work It icon, or go through All Detail.
1. Task Tab
After clicking on the Tasks tab you now have the option of creating a task for the client selected.
Call - Clicking this will put the clients phone number into the Add New Task field.
Add New Task - Name of task.
Due Date - Set the due date of the task.
Assigned To - Assign the employee that needs to work the task being created
Optional Color - Give a color of the task border (Example: possible response level of task)
Assign A Purpose - This allows you to classify the purpose of this task for classification.
Assign A Priority - Select how urgent this task is.
2. Work It Icon
After clicking on the Work It button click on add task.
Add New Task - enter the task description.
Due Date - Set the due date of the task.
Assigned To - Assign the employee that needs to work the task being created
Optional Color - Give a color of the task border (Example: possible response level of task)
Assign A Purpose - This allows you to classify the purpose of this task for classification.
Once items above have been selected click Add The New Task and the task will be created for that client.
3. All Detail Icon
After selecting All Detail, click on the Tasks tab. From here you can manually add the task.
Add New Task - enter the task description.
Due Date - Set the due date of the task.
Assigned To - Assign the employee that needs to work the task being created
Optional Color - Give a color of the task border (Example: possible response level of task)
Assign A Purpose - This allows you to classify the purpose of this task for classification.
Once items above have been selected click Add New Task and the task will be created for that client.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Prospect Management - Can access prospect lookup
- Member Management : General - Can access client options
