This article will guide you on how to create a Setup Fee to use with Sales Packages. *Please note that this is a functionality that may not be enabled by default in your club. Please contact ClubReady Support for more information.
1. Access Setup Fee Settings
Navigate to Setup > Sales > Fees > Setup Fees. To create a new setup fee, enter the Setup Fee name and click Create New Setup Fee.
When creating or editing a setup fee, the following options are available.
General Setup Fee Settings
Name - Create a name for your setup fee.
Editable - If you will allow staff to edit the amount that is due at the time of write up.
Amount - Enter the fee amount.
Taxable - Select if a Sales Tax will be applied to the fee.
Allow for these package types:
Membership - Select if Membership type packages allow for the setup fee to be added. Choose for this setup fee to be the Default fee for Membership Packages.
Membership Add-On - Select if Membership Add-On type packages allow for the setup fee to be added. Choose for this setup fee to be the Default fee for Membership Add-On Packages.
Services (PT) - Select if Services type packages allow for the setup fee to be added. Choose for this setup fee to be the Default fee for Services Packages.
Click Update Setup Fee to save your changes.
2. Apply Fee To Sales Packages
Setup fees are tied to sales packages via the Installment tab for each applicable package. You can add multiple Setup fees from the drop down. Choose if you need to adjust the Amount, make it Editable? during agreement write up or make it Taxable?. Choose from the Sales Tax Schedule drop down the correct sales tax. Click Update to save your changes.
3. Viewing The Fee During Agreement Write Up
The setup fee will display in Step 1 during agreement write up.
4. Viewing The Fee From The Invoice Screen
The setup fee is listed with all other invoices.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup - Can access setup
- Club Setup - Can access enhancement fees setup
