This article will guide you on how to mute or change the sounds in the ClubReady Desktop Application. The ClubReady Desktop Application plays sounds on the computer's speakers when a check in occurs.
Volume
The volume is controlled by the computer's main volume control.
Muting Sounds
If there is the need to mute the sounds emanating from check ins, log into the ClubReady Desktop Application. Select Check In > Settings.
Scroll down to check the box next to each sound you wish to Mute. Click Save and Close.
Custom Sounds
The sounds made by default are simple beeps and buzzers - custom sounds can be added as long as they are in .WAV format located on the local computer.
You can locate and download any sound you wish online as long as it is in the WAV format. Click here for a link to 3 custom sounds that can be downloaded to the local computer and loaded in the the ClubReady Desktop Application.
Right click and choose Save link as... to download each sound file to the C:\clubready folder on the local machine. Log in to the ClubReady Desktop Application. Select Check In > Settings.
Scroll down to the Sounds section and click Browse next to each sound. Navigate to the C:\clubready folder and click the needed sound. Click Open.
Test the sound by clicking the Play button to the right of each sound. Click Save and Close.
Requirements - Speakers attached to the computer running the ClubReady Desktop Application, replacement .WAV files.
