Configure Your Star TSP100 Printer For Use With Chrome
This article will guide you through configuring your Star TSP100 Printer for use with Google Chrome.
Installation
1. Open this link to navigate to the JSPrintManager installation page. Ensure that JSPM for Windows is selected.
NOTE: Please confirm the version 4 has been selected.
2. Select the driver that corresponds to your Windows version. If you are unsure, select Unified Installer.
3. The downloaded .exe file will appear in the lower left hand corner of Chrome. Click the file to continue installation.
4. A permission window will appear, asking if you would like to let JSPrintManager make changes to your device. Click Yes.
5. When the Setup Wizard appears, click Next to continue.
6. Once the driver is installed, click Finish.
7. Proceed to the Chrome page setup instructions below.
Page Setup
1. Open Chrome settings by clicking on the menu button in the top right corner. Click Print.
2. Select Star TSP100 Cutter as the destination. Click More Settings.
3. Choose the paper size 72mm x Receipt.
4. Select Custom margins. Use your cursor to set the top, bottom, left, and right margins to .1.
5. Click Print. A pop-up will appear, indicating that the receipt is printing. This pop-up will automatically disappear once the receipt is printed. To cancel the print, click the X in the top right corner of the window.
Note: When attempting to print your first receipt, a permission pop-up will appear. To prevent this from continuing to appear, click Don't ask again for this site, then click Allow.
6. If your POS is set up to require a signature, ensure that your signature pad is properly set up by following the instructions in this Knowledge Base article.
