This article will guide you through marking your ACH returns from Sage (Global E-Telecom). You will have already imported your sage return file into ClubReady.
How To Mark Individual Sage Ach Returns In ClubReady
Another option to mark ACH returns, is to mark them as you receive the ACH return notification to your email. If you need to set up your ACH returns to be sent via email, please email crpayments@clubready.com.
Step 1 - Marking An ACH Payment As Return
To mark a return payment on a member's account, search and select the member. From their summary page select Billing or under the All Detail view, go to Billing > Invoices / Payments / Refunds / Transaction Ledger > Payments.
Once you have located the matching payment record, click Mark Payment as a Return. You can now match the reason code from the dropdown to the code listed on the return report.
Step 2 - Matching An ACH Return Payment
Once the ACH return is marked, you will then to match the chargeback. If you have a corporate portal, this step may need to be done from your corporate site. Go to Reports > Sales > Import Returns > and select the Process Returns Tab. Select today's date and then click Fetch Returns.
This will generate a list of any ACH returns or chargebacks that were marked today. From here you will change the status on the return to Matched.
Once the return is marked and matched, the Paid invoice and payment record is reverse to show as Unpaid. Late Fees and Return Fees are automatically added per your site settings found under Setup > Sales > General Settings > Late Pays. The clients EFT will also be disabled and an automatic note will be added to the clients account. Payment preferences are automatically removed for all returns codes, with the exception of insufficient funds.
