This article will guide you through creating a website shortcut on your desktop.
1. Drag Shortcut to the Desktop
Open up your desired web browser and navigate to the site you wish to bookmark.
1. You will need to see your desktop, if your browser window is full screen click the square icon in the top-right corner of the window.
2. Next to the web address for your site will be a small icon. Place your mouse cursor over the icon and click with the left mouse button. Continue holding the left mouse button and drag the icon onto your desktop.
Now that you have placed a shortcut on your desktop you can click on it whenever you want to visit that specific site.
