This is a article will guide you through the process of setting up commissions for products.
PLEASE NOTE: your club must be on detailed commission tiers in order to generate commissions on products.
Step 1 - Setting Product Category To Be Commissionable
Navigate to Setup > Products > Products Categories.
1. Select the Edit Pencil next to the Category you want to adjust. Then choose the option This Category is Commissionable.
2. Click Edit this Product Category.
Step 2 - Linking Product To A Category
Confirm the products are tied to a Product Category by going to Setup > Products > Products.
Step 3 - Creating Commission Tiers For Products
Navigate to Setup > Staff > Commission Tiers > Product Tiers tab.
Applies New Tier To - Select the Staff Type you want to create the new Commission Tier for.
Commission Tier ($ Invoices Sales) - Enter the From and To amount for the Commission. If the end amount has no limit click the check box or no limit.
- NOTE: This will be a cumulative amount, not calculated off each item sold.
- Example: If you set the commission threshold as $5 - $50 and the employee sold more than $50 in products, they will not receive any commission.
Tier Commission % - Enter the percentage of the commission for this commission tier entry.
Add New Commission Tier - Click this to save the new tier.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Setup: Can access setup
- Setup: Can access product categories setup
