This article will guide you though updating individual staff type time clock settings. Each staff type can have its own set of daily and weekly time clock settings.
Navigate to Setup > Staff > Staff & Permissions > Edit Staff Type > Time Clock. These settings will be the default for any new staff assigned to this specific staff type.
Daily Settings
Daily maximum hours - Select Yes or No to set a daily maximum number of hours that this staff type can be clocked in per day.
Auto clock-out at maximum - If the maximum number of hours per day has been reached, do you want the staff member to be automatically clocked out - Yes or No.
Block clock-in at maximum - If the maximum number of hours per day has been reached, this setting will not allow the employee to clock back in.
Weekly Settings
Weekly maximum hours - Select Yes or No to set a daily maximum number of weekly hours that this staff type can be clocked in per week.
Auto clock-out at maximum - If the maximum number of hours per week has been reached, do you want the staff member to be automatically clocked out - Yes or No.
Block clock-in at maximum - If the maximum number of hours per week has been reached, this setting will not allow the employee to clock back in.
Clock-Out Reminder Emails
Clock out reminder emails can be sent to all employees who are actively clocked in. This can be used as a reminder to clock out or take breaks. Emails will be sent from the club default email address (Setup > Communications > General Settings).
Send Reminders - You can choose not to send any reminder emails, or to send them after a certain number of hours after an employee has been clocked in.
Email Subject - Enter in the subject of the email sent to staff members.
Reminder Email Message - Enter in the content of the reminder email.
Click on Update Time Clock Settings For 'Staff Type' Staff to save your changes.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Reporting - Can access setup
- Reporting - Can access staff & permissions setup
