This article will guide you through adding a sales package and/or products to the Point Of Sale (POS) Shortcuts Pad. The POS terminal has 12 product shortcuts buttons that can either be clicked with the mouse or when using a touch screen work by being pressed with a finger. You can setup which of your sales packages or products are available in each shortcuts button.
Please Note:
- Opportunity to search for specific products and click the product to choose which pad it should be placed on.

1. Access POS Terminal Setup: Navigate to Setup > Sales > POS Terminals > select the edit pencil next to the POS terminal. This will take you to the settings for this terminal:
2. Adding Sales Package: While in the Point Of Sale Terminal Setup page, select the POS Shortcuts tab. Click on the desired number pad > choose Sales Package > select the desired sales package from the drop down > Do:

1. Access POS Terminal Setup: Navigate to Setup > Sales > POS Terminals. Click on the pencil icon to access the setup for the POS Terminal:
2. Adding Product Shortcuts: Clicking on the edit pencil will take you to the General Settings by default. To access the POS shortcuts click on the POS Shortcuts tab. To select the desired product you can click on the product category drop-down or search by name. Select the product from the list. Once you select a specific product a Pad menu will appear. Select the number on the menu that matches the shortcuts pad number:
3. Once you select the shortcuts pad a new menu will appear. Select whether you want to use an image (selected by default), or select the text option and type in what you want to appear for your POS Shortcuts. Click the OK button to save your change:

1. Access POS Terminal: First you will want to select the POS terminal to edit. Go to Setup > Sales > POS Terminals > select the edit pencil next to the POS terminal. This will take you to the settings for this terminal:
2. Making a QuickPad Category: Now in the setup of the terminal, select POS Shortcuts. Click on the desired number pad > choose Product Category > select the desired category from the drop down > Do:
3. Purchasing in the POS: When in the POS, if you select a Category Quick Pad, you will be able to search a list of products within the category:
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Why is my sales package not showing as an option when attempting to add it to the POS shortcuts?
Make sure you have the sales package enabled to be added to the POS (Setup > Sales > Sales Packages > search for the sales package > Available to Add to POS Shortcuts).
2. Why can't I sell my month-to-month membership through the POS shortcuts?
You can only sell Services and Membership Add-Ons through the POS shortcuts, not memberships. These require for client's to sign a contract, which cannot be completed at the Point of Sale.
