This article will guide you through applying a Product Discount within the Point of Sale (POS).
1. Access POS Terminal
Navigate to Main > POS to open up your Point of Sale.
Click on the desired Products to add them to the register checkout screen. Products that are set to automatically apply a discount will need no action. The discount will automatically apply.
2. Apply Product Promo Code
Once you are within the POS, click on the desired Products to add them to the register checkout screen. Near the top right of the page, you will see a Select Discount dropdown, along with a Promo Code field to enter your Promo Code. Products that are set to automatically apply a discount will need no action as the discount will automatically apply.
After your selected Product has populated within the cart, select your Product Discount within the Select Discount drop down menu. If your Product Discount has a Promo Code setup, enter the Promo Code within the Promo Code box. After entering the code, click Apply.
After you Apply the discount, you will receive a Success indicator on the top right of the page. Products that apply for the selected discount will display a star icon and a note of which discount was applied and how much was saved off of the product price.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Point Of Sale (POS): Can access POS terminals
- Point Of Sale (POS): Can give product discounts at POS Terminal
