This article will guide you through performing the add feature in the Point Of Sale (POS). This feature is beneficial if you wish to add money to the drawer without performing a POS Open/Close.
NOTE: The POS Add feature is not available to the Simple POS terminal as it does not support a receipt printer or cash drawer.
1. Access Add Screen
In order to perform an Add in POS you will need to be on the main POS screen. To access the Add feature click on the Admin button.
2. POS Add Process
To access the POS Add screen click on the POS Add Tab
Here are the steps to complete the Add POS Process:
1. Click the Open Drawer button so you have access to all cash, checks and external receipts
2. Enter all cash into the Drawer Cash Calculator. This total will appear in the Cash To Add balance.
3. Place a POS add note if you want to document anything about this close, this is optional.
4. To complete the add you will need to enter in your ClubReady user name and password and click the Close The POS button.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Employee who has been granted permission to Full POS terminal
