This video and article will guide you through setting up the Files Dashboard Widget for your staff at the Corporate level. The files dashboard widget allows you to place specific files from your file store onto staff dashboards. This could potentially be used to have employee policy documents readily available, or any other key files that your staff need to access frequently.
1. Access Widget Setup
Navigate to Setup > Staff > Files Dashboard Widget.
The General Widget Setup options will allow you to add a Widget Title, select the option if you want to allow staff to minimize the widget and a New Files Indicator. The drop down will allow you to select for how long you want the indicator showing on the file.
2. Add A Message
You may add a message to the widget to display for the staff. Type the title and message. Choose if it will display for all locations, certain divisions, districts or clubs.
3. Adding A File
From the dropdown menu choose the current folders that you would like to show in the widget. You will be able to choose the folder, then the specific file. You do have the option to re-name the file for display in the widget. Now, Click the Add Selected File To Widget button to save.
You will now you will see the file(s) listed at the bottom of the page.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
