This article will guide you through accessing and using the SMS Promotional Opt-In and Opt-Out filters.
These filters are available to both prospects and customer/member tabs. Whenever you want to send out a promotional SMS message you can then select the SMS Promotional Opt-In option. If there is ever a time you need to contact clients that have opted out you can select the SMS Promotional Opt-Out filter. An example of using the Opt-Out filter may be to let clients know of a day the club is closed due to weather or hour changes due to holidays or season.
1. Access Filters
Click on either the Prospects or Customers / Member tab. Select the 3 bars button to continue.
2. Select Filters
Clicking the 3 bars button will update the screen to display a list of filters including several drop-downs. Click on No Misc. Filters to continue.
Scroll down the list and locate the SMS Promotional Opt-In and Opt-Out and select the desired filter. It will show all clients that have selected that option.
3. Sending An SMS To The Filtered List
Now that you have successfully filtered your list you are ready to send an SMS message. Look to the right of the filter and clients list and click on the Text (SMS) tab.
The first section of the SMS screen sill display how many credits / messages you can send and the limitations on sending SMS messages.
Excluding past due SMS messaging you will be able to type your sms message in the text field (maximum of 160 characters) and then click the Send Test Message SMS Blast button to send your message.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Prospect Management - Can access prospects
- Customer Management : General - Can access customer options
