This article and video will guide you through sending a SMS text message to a client.
NOTE: Sending SMS messages will require the purchase of communication credits.
1. Send A SMS Text Message Through Work It
Locate the person under Prospects, or Members/Customers Lookup. Once you click on their name you will be brought to the Client Summary page. Click the first icon under their name, Work It.
Once the Work It box is open, click on Contact > SMS (Text Message) tabs. From this screen you can send the client an sms message and see the communication history between the staff and client.
2. Send A SMS Text Message Through All Detail
A text can also be sent by clicking on All Detail from the Client Summary screen. Then use the General tab > Send A Text Message.
Verify in the upper right corner that your club has enough credit to send a text message. Type in your message, then click on Send Text Message (SMS).
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. When a text message is sent, does the client get the option to opt-out from future text messages?
Yes, the client will have the option to reply "stop" to to unsubscribe or "opt-out" of future text messages.
2. Can I choose or change my area code for outgoing text messages?
We understand that clients may be confused by an out of state area code. You may submit a request to ClubReady support for this to be adjusted.
3. Why are the messages not showing on the user's Work It?
This happens when the club sends the text with no credit balance. Please make sure to first purchase credits prior to sending a text.
