What is a Customer?
A customer is someone who is purchasing services in a PT Studio site. An active customer is someone who has any of the following:
1. Unused session credits
2. Open Bookings
3. Upcoming payments
When none of the conditions are met, the customer will move to an inactive status.
Automatic Updating of Customer Status
Automatic updating of customer status can be turned on or off in general settings. If automatic updating is turned OFF, you will have to manually update from active to inactive status.
If automatic updating of customer status is turned ON, ClubReady will automatically change the status of your customer from active to inactive based on their purchase activity. If they have session credits (excluding consultation booking credits), bookings, or upcoming payments they will be active. If they do not, they will switch to inactive automatically. Automatic Updating of customer status occurs once per day early in the morning.
Editing Customer Status
Even when automatic updating is turned ON, you can exclude specific customers from automatic updating and manage their status manually.
Locate the customer under Customer Lookup. From the client summary screen, click on All Detail > General > Edit Customer Status. You will see a note if Sitewide Automatic Updating is Active/Inactive. If you would like to manage this customer's status manually, click the checkbox. You can then use the dropdown menu to change the status to Prospect, Active, or Inactive. A note can be added if needed. Then click on Update.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
