This article is a list of some ClubReady terminology for your reference.
ACH (Automatic Clearing House) - this refers to the direct payment from a member to the club electronically.
Agreement - the arrangement between the customer and the club. The agreement details in ClubReady describe these terms and will display in a members options.
API (Applications Program Interface) - APIs allow clubs web sites to include pieces that correspond directly to ClubReady. For example, a clubs class schedule can be built into their public website using an API. Another example might be that a club customer may fill out a form on their website that inputs their profile into the clubs ClubReady site.
Booking - A booking is a scheduled event for a member. If they are schedule for a Personal Training Appointment, that is a booking.
Booking Policies - Every service or class that customers book must have a booking policy assigned to it. This policy describes how the scheduling system acts when a customer cancels or reschedules a booked session, and how much lead time is required for a new booking.
Booking Reminders - Booking reminders can be sent for every service and class type you have setup. Reminders can be by email 24 hours before a booked session and/or mobile push/SMS 2 hours before a booked session.
Chargebacks - a customer may dispute a charge on their credit card with their credit card issuer.
Check In Monitor - a view in a ClubReady site that provides the club updated information on the most recent members who have checked into the club.
Check-In Web Kiosk - a browser based check-in option that clubs can use to check customers in. Functionality can be tied to recognize if the customer has a booking and ask them to confirm either with an on-screen click or by signing.
Classes - these are scheduled events for more than one member at a time, such as a group training.
ClubReady Desktop - a check-in system that operates directly on the clubs desktop. This check-in option accommodates high volume clubs.
Communication Preference Update - this refers to an email opt-in process for club members to receive promotional material form their club. This process is handled via an email that contains a link. Members will use the link to opt-in to SMS text blasts. They also may use this to opt out of emails.
Consults - any service and/or class can be flagged as a consultation for sales tracking purposes.
Contracts - this is the written terms between the club and their member upon agreement write-up. Contracts can be signed electronically through ClubReady, however, there are clubs that use paper contracts externally to the system.

Contract Templates - Templates contain data tags that personalize the final customer document. They can also include signature tags for paper or electronic signatures. You should have a lawyer review and agree to all contract templates you create yourself.
Dashboard - a view in a ClubReady site that gives an overview of what is going on the club via widgets
Draft - this is the automated process within ClubReady wherein we attempt to collect payment on invoices that are due that day or any that are past due and eligible for a re-try (less than 3 declines).
EFT (electronic funds transfer) - the electronic transfer of money from one bank account to another. Also known as e-checks.
External payments - if a payment is marked as external that means the payment was collected through a separate system (outside of ClubReady).
Filters - filter options allow ClubReady users to sort their prospects or member list to a specific subset group of people
Grid View - a view where one-on-one services are scheduled with trainers.
Integrations - this refers to 3rd party software that can integrate into ClubReady.
Log Off - this is the term used to describe the action of marking a booking as completed successfully or as a customer no-show.
Online Portal - Is the webpage that provides customers an entryway to a variety of information, tools and bookings.
Payment Details - these are the payment preferences, (credit card or bank acct), added to the club members account for draft purposes.
Payment Gateways - this is a merchant service that authorizes credit card or direct payments processing for clubs. Clubs may work with their own merchant service (DIY) or through ClubReadys (Full Service).
Prospects/Leads - these are clients of the club that have not yet become customers or member. They have not yet committed to an agreement.
POS (Point of Sale) - This is the terminal through which clubs can manually take payment on services, agreements, and/or products. There are two types of POS terminals; simple and full.
Returns - A customers bank payment may be returned due to insufficient funds, closed bank account, or other error condition.
Refunds - a club may choose to refund a payment back to a customer.
Sales Packages - the terms defined by the club, detailing what will be included in their sales offer. Details the price, payment options, what is included and any limitations of sale.
Session Credits - these are tokens that can be applied towards a booking. Session credits are most often pre-paid, but sometimes can be given for free.
SMS (short message service) - SMS text messages can be sent through ClubReady to an individual member or as a blast.
Staff Types - clubs are able to create their own staff types in their site that are tied to permissions. This allows them to limit employee access as needed.
Standard Reporting or Payroll Period - Period for which your organization reports financial performance.
Tasks - are follow-up related items for club staff member to perform as part of their sales process and/or member retention. Tasks can be assigned and managed through ClubReady with Lead Rules, and Business Automation.
Third Party - when a club members agreement has been past due for an amount of time it may age into 3rd party. When an agreement hits 3rd party status, it is cancelled and flagged as 3rd party. It is then up the clubs 3rd party collections agency to attempt to collect on the amount owed.
TOS (Terms of Service) - This is your pricing agreement regarding your purchased ClubReady services that you sign at the time of sale.
Waivers - You can gather basic customer information, customize the text and include yes/no confirmations as needed. Forms can be used to collect a variety of information from your prospects and members and serves a variety of potential functions.
Widget - a small application that can be added to the dashboard. Some widgets act as tools used perform actions, while others are more informational based.
