This article will guide you in assigning barcodes to a product.
1. Locate the Product
Navigate to Setup > Products > Products. Start typing in a product name, or click on Show All Products. Select the item that the barcode(s) will be assigned to.
2. Assign Barcodes
Once you have selected the product, you will be on the General Settings tab. There are two options when assigning the barcode:
Scan New - will be used if you have a barcode scanner setup.
Enter New - is to manually type the barcode of the product.
The Current Primary barcode will be outlined in green. Click on the green P to assign a new primary barcode. You can enter in multiple barcodes if you wish. Use the red X to delete a barcode.
Can you assign a new barcode to a Corporate product from the club level?
- No, the barcode on a Corporate product will always be at the Corporate level.
Can I have more than one product with the same barcode?
- All barcodes should be unique.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access products setup
