This article explains all of the options you will have under the sales package Installments tab.
1. Creating an Installment Plan
Locate your sales package under Setup > Sales > Sales Packages.
Once you select your sales package, click the Installments tab. Here you may Add New Term Installment Plan's or edit an exiting installment plan. To add a new installment plan, click Add New Term Installment Plan.
Installment plans are used to set the initial term of the package. The system will generate each installment based on the Package Duration entered under the package Settings tab. For example if you have a 12 installment plan and a package duration of 1 month this will create an invoice every month for 12 months.
Number of Installments In This Plan - enter the number of installments in this plan.
Price PER INSTALLMENT - here you will set the amount of each invoice. This will override the standard package price you have created under the package Settings tab. This allows you to charge different amounts for each installment plan you create. For example, you may have multiple term-length options for your member to select from. Depending on the plan selected, you can have different price points.
Setup / Startup Fee(s) - by selecting Yes, you may create up to four different fees.
Setup Fee Amount - enter the fee amount
Setup Fee Name - enter the name for the fee
Editable - choose if you would like to allow this fee to be editable when writing an agreement.
Apply Sales Tax - select to apply sales tax as needed per your state laws.
Include Club Enhancement Fee - select a previously created enhancement fee from the drop-down menu.
When Should Any Session Credits Be Issued - If you will be issuing session credits with this package select, you may choose when they are released.
Only Issue When Paid - will only issue session credits when a payment is made on an invoice.
All Upfront When Agreement Is Written Up - will issue all session credits once the agreement has been finalized.
Click Add The New Installment Plan to make it an available option for this package.
2. Editing Payment Options On Your Installment Plan
To edit the installments of an installment plan click on the second edit pencil which will be located to the far right of installment plan's details.
Must Pay upfront vs. Can Pay Later - This allows you to set which installments must be paid as part of the down payment in addition to installment #1. You will also be able to alter the amount paid in each installment.
Click To Update Payment Options - click here to save your changes to your installment plans.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
