This article explains all of the options you will have under the Sales Package Settings tab.
Please Note:
- Locate your sales package under Setup > Sales > Sales Packages and select your sales package to open to the Settings tab.
Package Name: Allows you to edit the sales package name that will appear at the time of sale. A service package will also allow you to select Yes or No for Package Is Personal Training? to additionally classify it as a personal training package.
Package Description (optional): Here you can enter an optional description of the sales package.
Disabled?: When you first add a new sales package, it will be disabled by default. This prevents you from selling this package until it is ready for sale. You can also set a package to disabled if you are discontinuing use of it.
Expiration Date: A date entered here will disable the package for purchase after that date.
Package Duration: This is how often you would like invoices created for this package. For example if you would like invoices created every month, enter, 1 month.
Monthly or Package Standard Price: This is the standard price of each invoice. Please note that this can be over-ridden by installment plans created on the installments tab of this package.
Min / Max Allowed Prices: Will allow your staff to edit the price of each invoice only within the values entered here. Leaving these blank will allow your staff to edit the price to any amount.
Min Total Package Price: This is the minimum allowed value of the entire package. Setting the minimum total package value prevents your employees from being able to edit the invoices to a point which goes below this amount.
Draft Days Template: Allows you to assign a billing day template that you have already created. Templates can allow you to set standard billing days or block certain days of the month to avoid billing on those days. To learn more you may view the Standard Draft Days Blocked Draft Days article.
Sales Tax Schedule: If sales tax should be applied to the invoices for this package, select the sales tax amount from the drop down menu.
Terms Of Sale / Client Contract: This is the contract that will be used for the package at time of sale describing your terms and allowing the customer to review and sign. Learn how to create a contract template if you have not already done so.
Exclude Package From Late Fees: If you do not wish the customer to be charged any late fees when they become past due on this package, this allows an override of the default late pay settings.
Any Session Credits to Expire After: If this package will be releasing session credits, you may choose to set an expiration date for a set amount of days. The expiration can be based on days from Payment (when a payment is made on the invoice releasing credits) or Contract (based on the date the contract is written/agreement is finalized).
Free Sessions Can Be Added At Time Of Sale: This will allow staff to include free session credits (you can set a Max number) with this purchase. The type of credits will be based on the session credits you will be releasing when this package is purchased.
Auto-Renew Evergreen: If set to Yes, this means that once the customer has fulfilled this package's initial term, their agreement will then rollover to the settings you create here.
Edit Pencil: Allows you to select the package you wish this agreement to rollover to. You may choose to rollover With the same package as the initial purchase or you may choose to auto-renew to a different sales package.
Forever Until Stopped: This drop down will allow you to choose if you want the package to auto-renew forever (until it is cancelled) or for a certain number of invoices. By selecting a number of invoices, you will also be able to choose if it will stop the agreement and cancel, or switch to a different sales package.
Customer Can Opt-Out: If you check here, your staff will be able to turn the auto-renew off for the customer, during the initial agreement write-up.
Any Session Credits to Expire After: Set the expiration date for any session credits released during auto-renew to a certain number of days.
Assign Membership/Customer Type: This will automatically assign a Membership Type through the purchase of this package.
Package Is Internal: If this package is intended to be purchased by members (that have already been made a member or customer with a previous package purchase) this setting allows you to flag this and Assign Prospect Type: Here assign the Membership or Internal Prospect type that will assign with the purchase of this package. Keep in mind if a customer currently has a membership/customer or prospect type, once this package is purchased their type will be replaced per this setting.
Confirmation Email Template: The default system email for new agreement purchase may be sent or you can select a specialty email template to be sent when this package is purchased. If you would like to create an email template you may view our article Create A Custom Email Template. Once the template is created you may then assign it to your package.
Available To Add To POS Shortcuts: (Applicable to Add-on or Service Packages Only) This allows you to sell the package at your POS Terminal as a Short Cut. This purchase will not prompt the customer to sign a contract and the package will not auto renew.
Expected Sessions Per Week: If the package involves sessions, you can indicate what the expected number of completed sessions per week is. This is used to track how compliant a customer is to their initially agreed commitment.
Agreement Third Party Collections Rules: This allows you to determine what rules you want the system to follow for Third Party Collections. You can select to Use System Defaults, Never Place 3rd Party or Custom Settings.
