This article will go through the settings and options on the Communications General Settings page.
Basic Email Settings
Navigate to Setup > Communication > Communication Settings.
Email Friendly From Name - the name that you would like your clients to see in the from field when they open their email.
Default Email Signature - what you would like clients to see for your email signature. In any email blast you can use the tag [defaultsignature] tag instead of typing your signature in each email template or blast.
Contacts From Login Area Are Sent To - When clients reply back this will be the email address these responses are sent to.
SMS (Text Message) Settings
Club Friendly Name - name you would like displayed as 'from' in text
Max Promotional SMS Per Week - How many SMS text blasts per week
Collections Phone Number - when text is sent from 'manage past due' option it will display this number.
Members Weekly Email
Weekly Emails Active? - select this check-box if you want to activate weekly fitness email tips.
Day of Week Email Is Sent - select the day you want the fitness email to be sent
Weekly Email Subject Line - you can change the title of the weekly fitness email.
Misc. Email Template Tags
Location General Manager [locationgeneralmanager] - enter the name of the general manager. Once this is done you can use [locationgeneralmanager] tag to display this in any email blast or template.
Location Email Address [locationemail] - if the club has a generic email created you can enter it here. The email tag [locationemail] can be used in email blasts and templates.
Facebook URL [facebook] - you can enter in the address for your Facebook site to where you can used the [facebook] tag in any email blast or template.
Twitter Name [twitter] - you can enter in the address for your Twitter site to where you can used the [twitter] tag in any email blast or template.
Class Schedule {classschedule} - you can enter the html for members to access your class schedule.
Click To Update General Communication Settings - please click here to save your changes.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access communication general settings
