Studios can be setup to require a sales staff to be selected when completing a transaction. This setting can be available under Setup > Sales > POS Terminals > select the terminal > Sale 'Assigned To' Must Be Selected.
Assign Staff using the Simple POS
Once the product or invoice has been selected, you will see at the top of your POS screen the Default Sales Person drop down. In the Simple POS, the default salesperson is always the user currently logged in and making the sale. The option to select a different user is only available in the FULL POS.
Assign Staff using the Full POS
Once the product or invoice has been selected, you will see at the top of your POS screen the Default Sales Person drop down. Select from the list the staff who should be assigned the sale.
Split Sale using the Full POS
A transaction can be divided between two staff members, with a 50/50 split by default. After selecting Checkout, you will see the "CLICK TO SPLIT" option. Click and then select the additional staff member to complete the split.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Point Of Sale (POS): Can access POS terminals
- Point Of Sale (POS): Can edit staff member assign to list at POS
