This article will guide you through adjusting an item's price in the point of sale (POS).
1. Select an Item for Checkout and Apply Adjustments
Navigate to Main > Point of Sale.
Use the product quickpad or perform a product search to add items into the register. Click on the item to open up adjustment options. If enabled, a product discount can be applied using the drop down menu. A price can also by typed in manually. When adjustments have been made, click on Update to save.
2. Confirm Adjustments
Price adjustments will reflect under Price and Extended Price columns. There will be a note for the Pre-Discount Price as well.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Point of Sale - Can access POS terminals
- Point of Sale - Can give product discounts at POS terminal
