This article will guide you through cancelling a client booking from a class on the class schedule.
1. Locate the Class
Navigate to Bookings > Classes > select the class.
Clicking on the class on the schedule will take you back to the class summary screen.
2. Find the Booking ID
To start the client's booking cancellation click on the booking id number.
3. Determine Cancel Reason
To cancel the booking select the Cancel tab. There are potentially two ways to cancel this booking. Each are a separate staff permission.
Client wants to cancel - If this is selected, you are "faulting" the customer for cancelling. If a session credit was required to make this booking, they will loose the session credit.
Cancellation is not Client's fault - If this option is selected, then you are not holding the customer responsible for the cancellation. The booking will show under Cancelled Okay in the customer's booking and session credit status; and if a session credit was required for the booking, the credit will now go back to available session credits.
Notification - You may alert the customer via email and/or text in regards to this cancellation.
Optional Internal Note - This adds a customer note that only club staff will be able to view (this does not display for the customer in any way).
To complete the cancellation screen click the Cancel This Booking button. You will receive one booking cancellation prompt. Click the OK button to finalize the cancellation.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Classes - Can access classes
- Scheduling - Can Cancel Bookings - Member Cancellation
- Scheduling - Can Cancel Bookings - Not Member's Fault
