This article will guide you through creating custom cancellation types for use when cancelling an agreement. This feature can be used either at a club or chain level.
1. Cancellation Reasons Setup
To access this feature from the corporate/chain level, click on Setup > Sales & Metrics > Cancellation Reasons.
To access this feature from a club level, click on Setup > Sales > Cancellation Reasons.
There are eleven default system cancellation reasons which have (System Reason) listed after them. These cannot be edited or removed.
To create a new cancellation reason type in the cancellation name and click the button Add New Cancellation Reason. Clicking this button will make your new reason appear in the Existing Custom Cancellation Reasons list.
You can toggle your new reason on or off, edit the name by clicking the edit pencil or delete it by clicking the red x.
NOTE: Once a cancellation reason has been used to physically cancel an agreement it will not be editable or able to be removed from the system.
Any reasons which have (Corporate) listed after them can only be edited or removed at a corporate / chain level.
2. Using Cancellation Reasons
To verify everything is correct perform a cancellation process for a client. When you reach the cancellation reason verify your new cancellation reason appears.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access cancellation reasons setup
