This article explains all of the options you will have under the sales package Cancel/Freeze tab.
1. Access Sales Package
Locate your sales package under Setup > Sales > Sales Packages.
Once you select your sales package, click the Cancel / Freeze tab.
2. Cancellation Settings
To use custom cancellation settings for this package click Yes next to Use specific cancellation settings for this package. Leaving this no means the club default settings will be used.
Cancellation Fee - Set a default dollar amount of a cancellation fee.
Cancellation Fee Sales Tax - Set the sales tax rate of the cancellation fee.
Cancellation Contract Template - Choose a contract template to have a customer sign a paperless cancel form upon cancelling their agreement. Or choose No Signed Document Required.
3. Freeze Settings
To use custom freeze settings for this package click Yes next to Use specific freeze settings for this package. Leaving this no means the club default settings will be used.
Allow Unlimited Freezes - If set to Yes, a freeze can be set for an unlimited amount of time until manually restored.
Maximum Freeze Months When Not Unlimited - Set the maximum number of freeze months for this sales package to be frozen. Leave the box blank for no limit.
Maximum Days in the future that a Freeze can start - Set a number of maximum days in the future that a freeze may start. Leave this box blank for no limit.
Freeze Contract Template - Choose a contract template to have a customer sign a paperless freeze form upon freezing their agreement. Or choose No Signed Document Required.
Freeze Monthly Fee - Set a default dollar amount for a monthly freeze fee. This is the amount to charge the customer each month their membership is on freeze.
Freeze Monthly Fee Sales Tax - Set the tax rate of the monthly freeze fee.
One Time Freeze Fee - Set a dollar amount for a one time freeze fee. This fee is due the day the freeze starts.
One Time Freeze Fee Sales Tax - Set the tax rate of the one time freeze fee.
Allow Online Cancellation - If set to Yes, this will allow the customer to cancel this sales package online.
Once you have completed these edits click Update Cancel/Freeze Settings to save the changes. These settings will now over-ride any default Freeze and Cancellation settings.
Requirements - A 'Master Admin' login or a staff login with the following permissions.
