This article will guide you through finding the reasoning behind your staff member not showing as available for a class.
1. Assign Staff To Scheduling
In order for staff to appear as an option for scheduling, staff members must be Assigned to Scheduling. To confirm that the staff member in question has been assigned, navigate to Setup > Scheduling > Staff Scheduled.
From here, verify that the staff member is showing under the Employees Assigned column (right hand side of the chart). A green dot next to the Staff member's name indicates that the provider is available for scheduling, while a grey dot indicates that the provider is not available for scheduling. Click the staff member's name to adjust the profile.
There are multiple settings on the Setup A Staff Member page that could be causing the staff member to not appear. First, verify that the Enabled For Scheduling slider has been set to Yes.
Under the Enabled for Scheduling setting, you will find the What Services & Classes Can (staff member's name) Perform? table. From here, make sure that the class you are attempting to assign the instructor to is highlighted in green. A green class indicates that they can provide the class, while the grey indicates that they can not provide the class.
On the bottom of the page, you will be able to locate the Availability Calendar for the staff member. Times that are highlighted in yellow indicate that the staff member is Available at that time, while the un-highlighted times indicate that they will not be available. Verify that the staff member is available at the time the class is scheduled.
2. Staff Upcoming / Open Bookings
If you can confirm that the staff member is properly setup for scheduling, they may not be showing due to being tied up with an already scheduled booking at that time (this includes being booked at another location).
To view the staff member's current Upcoming / Open Bookings, navigate to Staff > Lookup the Staff Member > Go to Options > View Upcoming / Open Bookings.
