This tool allows you to set a time restriction (before or after) between bookings to manage scheduling more effectively. Time limits between bookings are helpful for providing members with a cool down period between sessions or to meet health related requirements. This feature is only available when using Scheduling Reimagined.
Navigate to Setup > Scheduling > Booking Restrictions.
Step 1: View Your Current List of Classes/Services
The first column will list all the classes or services that are available for booking. This list represents the sessions your members can book. You can filter this list by selection from the drop down to Show All Services & Classes, Only Show Services or Only Show Classes.
Step 2: Choose the Class/Service for Time Restriction
The second column "Booking Restriction Settings", allows you to select the class or service you want to apply the time restriction to (the class/service in the first column). This is the session that will have a cool down or waiting period before or after a member can book it.
Step 3: Set Time Limit
Once you have selected a class or service from the drop down, you will need to decide when the time restriction should apply:
Before: Set a waiting period before the member can book the class/service after their previous session.
After: Set a waiting period after the class/service before the member can book another session.
Click Save to update your settings. The time limit will not be applied, preventing members from booking back-to-back sessions in violation of the specified cool down period.
In this example the member is restricted from taking GROUP PT - 45 Min Class within 2 hours of TRX - 60 Min Class.
You can repeat the process for other classes or services in the list if you want to apply different time restrictions.
