This article covers the steps required to install the Voyager wand scanner for use with the Web Kiosk or Point of Sale (POS) terminal within the ClubReady system.
Requirements:
- Admin rights on the computer you are installing the scanner on.
- An available USB port on the computer or powered USB port.
- Access to the notepad application (or Google doc) on your computer to test the scanner after install.
Step 1: Verifying you have the correct scanner.
Please verify the scanner matched the information listed below. If anything does not match these instructions will not work for installing your scanner. This may also mean ClubReady will not support or only be able to provide limited support for your scanner.

Step 2: Plug scanner USB cable into an available USB port.
1. Log into computer with an account that has admin rights. This is necessary for the scanner to install correctly on this computer.
2. Plug the scanner's usb cable into an available USB port on the computer or a powered USB port.
3. Please wait a few minutes for the scanner to configure, most windows systems will display a notification in the lower-right corner of the screen near the time letting you know that it is configuring a device.
Step 3: Test
1. Open your computer's Notepad application (or Google doc).
2. Scan any product barcode; this does not have to be a product you are selling, this is only to test the device.
3. The barcode number appear in Notepad and you have successfully configured the scanner for use within ClubReady. If you do not see the barcode number, wait a few seconds and try scanning again.
