This article will guide you through the steps on creating a Promo Code for your existing class packages.
1. Create Class Package: Start by creating the class pack/class offer the user will need to purchase. Navigate to Setup > Sales > Sales Packages. Find the Folder Group and locate the Folder you want to add your new sales package. Select Add A Sales Package. Continue to add your package settings such as pricing and auto renew (if it applies).
2. Sales Package Included Tab: It is important you setup your new class package to include the class credits the user will be receiving. Select the Included tab within the package setup.
Standard Services And Classes In This Package
Add Service or Class Credits, this is where you set what session credits are to be issued for each installment. Enter the number of Available Credit Types and Select Credit Type from the drop down menu. Once you have entered the number and selected a credit type, click Add Credits To Package. All credits that will be issued for each installment will appear below. There is an X next to these to allow you to remove them.
3. Create Promo Code: Now that your class package has been created, you can setup the promo code you can use to apply discounts at the time of sale. Navigate to Setup > Sales > Package Discounts. Click on New Package Discount. A window will appear showing the 3 steps needed to complete the process.

Step 1 - General Information
- Discount Name (required): Type the name of your discount.
- Promo Code (required): Type the code used to redeem this discount.
- Available Starting (required): When the promotional discount begins.
- Available Until: This is optional although you have the option to have a specific date that this discount expires and can no longer be used.

Step 2 - Packages
- Select the class package that can use this discount by selecting Yes to the right.

Step 3 - The Discount
- Monthly Package Price Discount - Your discount can either be a percent discount (% Off: such as 5% off), a set dollar amount discount ($ Off: such as $5 off) or you can Override Amount To Be (For example: with this discount, the selected sales package could be $20. Opposed to the set price of $35)
- Setup Fees - If there is a setup fee tied to one of the packages that was selected for this discount, you have the ability to apply a discount to that setup fee. Selecting the Setup Fee > Add Fee > Select the type of discount being applied (% Off, $ Off or Override amount to be) > Save.
4. Applying Promo Code to Class
The below image shows what you will see when applying this discount during Step 1 of the Write Up Agreement process. From the Opportunity Setup option, choose from the dropdown Select Package Discount or Enter Promo Code. Click Apply Discount. The discount will automatically display.
