This article will guide you through recommended steps when reviewing your ClubReady Reports and noticing sales tax discrepancies.
1. Verify Sales Tax Settings
Does sales tax apply to ALL of your products and/or packages?
For example, sales tax could have been added to individual products but not set for all of your items.
Navigate to Setup > Sales > Sales Settings. The drop down will allow for you to add a default sales tax to apply to ALL of your products and/or packages. This way, no item slips through the cracks and gets charged without a sales tax.
Keep in mind - These club defaults can be overridden by the settings for an individual product, package or setup fee.
2. Verify Change Date
Have you recently made changes to your sales tax settings?
If running a report but noticed a discrepancy, it may be due to the sales tax change happening at some point in the date range that has been selected.
