1. What is Credit on Account in ClubReady?
This refers to money available in a prospect/member ClubReady profile for them to use when purchasing a product or paying their membership invoices. Think of this as store credit.
You can view if a client has Credit on Account when locating their profile > ALL DETAIL.
ClubReady also offers a report which will display a list of all clients with Credit on Account. Navigate to Reports > Members > Account Balances.
2. How does the system use Credit on Account?
There are 2 ways to go about using their Credit on Account:
- If the customer has credit balance on their account when making a purchase at the POS, it will automatically populate the amount for you to view. Select the red X if you prefer to remove it and use a different payment method.
- ClubReady can automatically use the available credit on account for their reoccurring invoices. This will be available under Setup > Sales > Payment Gateways > Draft Can Use Credit Balance. It will use the Credit on Account first before attempting to draft the credit card or ACH on file.
3. How is it applied to a user's profile?
There are 2 ways the prospect or member received the Credit on Account:
- Through the POS
- Through a refund
4. How do I know if the client has used Credit on Account?
The payment will display the same way as with any other payment method (cash, check, credit card, ACH). Search and locate the client's account > BILLING > Payments.
