What is an Email Template?
A pre-defined email layout where you can include content such as text or images. Whenever you need to send a one-on-one email or email blast to your clients, rather than create a new email from scratch each time, you can use a template as a base. Templates also allow for you to add designs and follow your brand guidelines.
Where do I setup an email template?
Navigate to Setup > Communication > Email Templates.
Where can I use an email template?
They can be selected in the following areas:
- Work It - Work it > Contact > Send an Email
- Email Blast - Members lookup > Email tab / Leads/Prospects lookup > Email tab.
- System Emails - You can customize the template that goes out through our automated emails
What is an Email Message Template?
A pre-defined message that can be used in a variety of places. This is not the same as an email template since it does not allow for you to layout your content or include images. This is only available when your email template has the [content] tag. This pre-defined message will replace the tag.
What is the Content Tag?
This tag is a "place holder" when used in work it, email blasts and automated rules emails. It will be replaced by the text entered at the moment of sending an email.
If your email template does not have a [content] tag, the Email Message Template drop down will not display.

Navigate to Setup > Communication > Email Message Templates.
Where can I use an email template?
They can be selected in the following areas:
- Classes - Class schedule popup. If there is at least one booking in the class, there will be an Email tab.
- Leads - Leads/Prospects lookup > Email tab.
- Members - Members lookup > Email tab.
- Past Dues - Members/Customers > Manage Past Dues Email tab
- Work It - Work it > Contact > Send an Email
