This article will guide you through suggested practices when going through Presale.
PLEASE NOTE:
- These suggestions might not apply to your studio.
- Not all brands follow the same Presale process. If you are part of a chain, we recommend reaching out to your Corporate Team to advise the right process for you.
1. Create a Presale Package Folder
This will allow for your staff to easily select and sell the right agreement.
Learn HERE how to create package folders.
1. Setup Presale Packages with no Auto Renew
Setting up packages with no auto renew can prevents any client from getting accidentally billed before opening. This will prevent you from having to keep manually adjusting invoices into the future if your open date changes.
You can sell a single invoice special presale agreement with no auto renew. Once you know the opening date and/or getting ready to officially open, you should contact ClubReady to convert the presale memberships into a regular membership, set the next invoice date, and invoice amount.
It’s up to the studio if they want to charge something initially but most studios ask for first month upfront and then not have it Auto Renew.
2. Setup Sales Packages with Auto Renew
You can also sell auto renew packages from the start with no issue of clients being billed early. To proceed with this, ClubReady will need to have the bank draft OFF until after you reach your opening date. Once you know the opening date, ClubReady can assist with moving the existing invoices in alignment with your opening date.
Studios can also opt to having staff members manually move the invoice due date for each member.
3. Down Payment
Studios can choose to take a down payment during presale but you will need to verify your local laws which could prevent you from charging until you open.
It’s up to the them if they want to charge something initially but I’d say most studios ask for first month upfront and then not have it AR.
